It is not much information available on her family. Her mother is of Mexican origins, while her father was Filipino. Erin Lim is a twin sister called Erica. Erin Lim was a graduate of an exclusive high school located in California. She was enrolled in Chapman's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts when she graduated from in high schools. In May 2013 she earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts, with a concentration in TV and broadcast journalism. Rubi Benton (born in Lexington Kentucky) was raised there by Nardos Benton who is the half African American Half Japanese. John Benton her father is also a lawyer. Her mother is Eritrean and was born in Ethiopia. As her father was adopted the mother of her paternal lineage is Japanese. Scarlette is her elder sister as is Coral is her younger sister. She lived in Geneva for all of the year. Then she moved from Switzerland to Atlanta in Georgia during her junior year. Georgia State University was where she was a student of politics. She grew up listening to Prince, Michael Jackson, Biggie, Marvin Gaye and Chaka Khan. Megan Thee Stallion has influenced her as have Nicki minaj Cardi b, Foxy Brown, and Cardi b. Rose gained fame after she was the model in the music video of the hip-hop group Migos to promote their song Bad and Boujee. She began regularly appearing on a Twitch channel with East Coast Hip Hop commentator DJ Akademiks who is Jamaican born. Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She has a mother who is English while her father is Nigerian. She grew up in the south of a London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London.
